Overall impression was very good. Especially the view to the park was a plus. The sauna department was better than in many other hotels with a jacuzzi and a real sauna (men's side at least). The breakfast that was included was good as well.

The only con that comes into mind is that the room was quite small (we had the smallest one however) with only hardly room for the bigger luggage.

Hotel Coco Grand Ueno Shinobazu in Tokyo is a clean and excellent value hotel. the location is comfy, right by train lines that make it easy to travel to other parts of Tokyo. the breakfast is above average with a variety of complimentary food options.

Excellent hotel with spectacular view on the Ueno lake. Very clean and very well located with easy access to Tokyo central areas. The double room is a bit small (that is quite normal in Tokyo) but provides every sort of toiletries. Staff is extremely polite and friendly. Breakfast is fair, japanese food mostly, but pastries, small pancakes and yogurt are also present. Free coffee and tea in the lobby. I would definitely stay here again.

The staff was really nice to me, and helped me a lot with finding places. Even though i didnt get the chance to see sumowrestling. The facilities was very good, and got a really good room with a view over the lake of ueno. The hotel is places near Ueno Station and makes it perfect for travelling around Japan, and if you wanna have some fun, the next street is full of expensive woman...and good eating places. I still miss the heating in the toilet seat, and that i could view the lake from the bathroom every morning.

Even I know japanese breakfast is very small, i still have to say if something could be better, it would be nice, if there was a little more to choose from in the morning buffet, and if you come late, there will only be leftovers or barely enogfh to put on your plate.

Comfortable bed with great facilities in the luxury room. the bathroom is a bit small, but the breakfast is delicious. the check-in process was smooth and we were able to check out late. Plus, the wifi here is awesome! 🌟

The rooms with a bed of approximately 1.2m were very comfortable. the staff was extremely supportive and gave us helpful tips to enhance our stay. - the hotel's location in a tourist-friendly area was a definite plus.

Friendly staff and very convieniently located near the Ueno station. Ueno station has a high speed train that links directly to Narita airport (36min).

Room was very small

I have stayed there before and would go back for the excellent service. The breakfasts are above average, with fresh fruits and both Eastern options. The staff are extremely helpful and provide good services.
